The place to be for Halloween this year and every year is downtown Nyack.The parade, is celebrating its 30th year on Oct. 28 which is going to be quite a blowout.. Nyack’s parade actually gives the NYC Greenwich Village parade a run for its money. It begins at 3 p.m. in the heart of Nyack. We will have marching bands ,and cash prizes totaling over $2,000. If you want to march and be eligible for prizes you need to register. Marchers and floats assemble at 3 p.m. for registration and judging in Memorial Park at Depew and Piermont streets. Judging and registration conclude at 5 p.m., followed by the parade step-off at 5:30 p.m. Main Street and South Broadway will be closed from 2:30-8 p.m. for parade activities.Happy Nyack Halloween to everyone!
